My R1s are sounding very good, but I am thinking of upgrading the speakers and setting up a little speaker blend. I was wondering what some of the people in here thought about the blend. It will be a blend of the R1 in the front and R2 in the rear. The two speakers will be spaced 4 inches apart in the front and 6 inches in the rear. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Probably sounds like crap, but I like blends as I like to hear everything in each speaker. I don't like blending 2 speakers that I like. I would invest in 2 good speakers, so you don't have to worry about it sounding good.

It might make it sound better but at the same time it might sound worse. Depending on how well you have treated the cabinets and how far away the walls are, as well as any other factors, you might not notice a difference.

Blends sound good to me. I used to have a setup like that and it really sounded great.
